What an awesome day

At around noon today, I was checking my email for the 6th time (yeah, I know, it's a problem already) when I see a message from a name not usually in my inbox. It's a new mom-friend from Dayna's ballet class and thanks to this blog, she's interested in adopting our kitty into their home. Let me tell you, I haven't had such an over-whelming sense of relief-joy-thankfulness for a long, long time. Ryan and I really did NOT want to give our cat to just anyone. It needed to feel right. Well, what a perfect match! Their family had been waiting for the right opportunity to get a new pet and our situations seemed to be made for each other. We talked on the phone later and yup, it was a match. So this evening we went to fetch Cali from the farm in Halbstadt and delivered her to her new, loving home where she is sure to be cared for by three adoring little kiddos and their folks. Thank-you soooooo much M & S. We couldn't be more happy with Cali's adoptive family :)
