Happy 6 Months Big Guy

Our little Gavin is SIX months old today and I'm in shock. The time has flown SO much faster the second time around. Here's a little update on the things he's up to these days:
- Tries to eat rice cereal as of Dec 27th. He's not too interested and usually I have to jam the bottle in his mouth to get him to swallow. I guess we'll keep trying.
- Sits alone as of Christmas day. He likes to rock from back to front a lot. I think he'll end up crawling before he ever rolls over
- Oh yeah, no rolling over yet. Not even from front to back. He's got too much chub in the way.
- Weighs in around 21+ lbs. We'll see for sure at tomorrow's Dr. appt.
- He's moving into a big-boy car seat (still rear-facing of course) because he's TOO heavy for the infant carrier.
- He laughs and smiles VERY easily. He just loves attention of any kind.
- He sleeps for 3 naps a day, usually 1-2 hrs each but doesn't sleep very well at night. Sometimes we're up just once around 1-2 a.m., sometimes it's every 2 hours all night long. But I know there's a light at the end of that tunnel...some day :)
- He's another light in our lives. Gavin is so cuddly and adorable. Ryan often has to remind me not to squeeze him too hard or I'll make him puke. I just can't help but kanoodle him to pieces!!!!!
