We thought we wouldn't have to re-live "The Flood of the Century" and it turns out we were right...except for a few island-yards, all the flood-proofing seems to have done it's job. Below are some pics of the Post Road between Leonard and Edna's and Dennis and Jackie's yards
Above we are looking west towards Leonard's driveway where you'll see his tractor parked. For now, this is the only way on and off the yard.
Above is the view of Leonard and Edna's private island retreat.
Here we are looking east toward our farmyard. There were about 300ish feet of water over the Post Road on April 19th and I was too chicken to drive all the way across so we stopped here, a little less than half way.
