Summer '09 re-cap Part1

I know. Everyone thought I had stopped the blog. This is what happens when you return to work full-time, now with two tiny terrors to wrangle ever morning and every night, and do it in the middle of summer. I seriously did not have a spare moment in the evenings to sit down and try to upload pictures, never mind actually type something out. I still had my entire summer's worth of pictures on my camera until last night when I spent over an hour downloading them all. PLUS our stupid internet sucks big time lately.

ANYWAY, I will attempt to re-cap the summer over the next several posts. This may take til November so please be patient.


At the end of June, my 2nd cousin Scotia came to visit with her little brother Josh. We had a blast exploring around the yard.


We also had a Father's Day get-together. We had the sprinkler out but it wasn't very much fun in the frigid June temps.


My cousin Jenna is holding little Vanessa who came to visit us all the way from Hong Kong. Vanessa is the "city mouse" and we are the "country mice".


We had a very big family event happen in July and that was my grandma and grandpa moving from the farm to Altona. Here I am riding on my grandpa's Pony tractor that my dad & mom loaded on a trailer and brought to our house. There is a picture of my mommy riding on this tractor when she is just the same age as me!

One last look at the house my mommy grew up on. So many memories were made in this house. We are so thankful that good friends of ours now live there so we can still go back and spend time there.
