People and animals in CA

Me and my cousin Elena (I say "Layna"). At first, I didn't want to share with her even though she was so friendly and wanted to play. But here I was softening up and I even handed her the ball to play with. See, she's holding it in her hand!
Here's me and my cousin Jonnie. He came over the G.G.'s almost every morning before he went to Kindergarten. We'd play and he'd make me laugh and laugh and laugh. I sure miss him and I ask for him every day. I call him "Dough-knee"
My mom and dad took me to Balboa Park in San Diego. I had so much fun running around and exploring. There were pretty buildings, a cactus garden, and lots of water fountains. I almost climbed right into this one!
At the San Diego Zoo we saw lots of really cool animals. I think my mommy enjoyed it more than I did. We saw monkeys, zebras, giraffes, meerkats, lots of birdies, elephants, rhinos and hippos. My daddy took me to the Petting Zoo where there was this cute bunny and lots of lazy, friendly goats to pet.
Me and the crocs! Although they look small in the picture, really they're pretty big and scary. But I wasn't afraid! I sat right down on this side of the glass so mommy could take a picture!
