New things to eat and other late-breaking news

Dayna has seemed to launch into a phase of learning so fast it's literally a new word or something substantial everyday. She is now crawling with lighting speed, going up stairs (especially at Grandma and Grandpa K's where there are tons of them), walking with assistance, climbing up several pillows onto the couch, making huge messes by emptying laundry baskets where ever she goes, and so on.

New words used accurately include: Ducky, puppy (refering to any four-legged animal, despite repeated reminders that our cat is "kitty-cat" not puppy), mommy, daddy, and baby

In the last 10 days or so (see pics below) Dayna has also experienced several new foods. She has now mastered sippy cups, well sometimes she's lazy and makes me hold it for her. Also, she had a little spill and got a fat lip so mommy gave her a popsicle. She went to The Hut for ice cream with her auntie Shawna and cousin Jenna. She has found daddy's empty Coke can with a little still in the rim. And finally, we tried to eat alphagetti with some success. Most, however, is on her face or the floor.
