life with dayna & gavin: Mother's Day

First off, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms I know. This was my first and we had a really nice day. Of course I gained back all the weight I'd fought to lose this past week but what can I do. Start over I guess.

Anyway, we had a nice time at Grandma & Grandpa K's for lunch. Mmmmmm, steak and chicken souvlaki...very delicious. After lunch we loafed around. Well, the men actually cleared the table for us moms. Thank you (even though we had to convince you to do it) Then uncle Ryan played hide and seek with Jenna. It was more of uncle counting to 10 and then Jenna squealing, "hehehehehee, I'm over here!!!" So much for "seek"

Later we went over to Grandma W's for supper. It was so nice to have Rita join us with her little gaffers. They're a wonderful family and we always have a good time together. Dayna continued to be a momma's girl for the day, whining half the time if I'd leave her sight but she got better as the day went on.
