On Monday June 7th, Dayna and I spent 2.5 hrs in the French immersion kindergarten class as an orientation for this September when Dayna starts school. She got to participate in some typical activities and observe the goings-on of the classroom. It was also a great opportunity for me to see what will happen as I doubt that my full-time work will allow many chances to volunteer in her classroom.

Dayna's new teacher, Madame B, introducing her to the class.
Going down the loooooooong hall way to play outside for a while.
Dayna didn't take her eyes off Madame as she read Jack in the Beanstalk, en Francais.
The matching game was a favourite for my girl.
Over so soon. Time to go home and take her drawing of 47 circles home. Bye bye Ecole Elmwood, see you in September.

Wow I can't believe she's starting school already either... Crazy... Awesome for french immersion! We're really hoping to send Seth there too but we shall see! Keep us posted on how things are going. Parlez-vous francais a la maison?
