Now...let me present my new niece - Erica Osueke - born today, Jan 15, 2007 at 12:16 pm, weighing 8 lbs 12 oz and measuring 21 inches...

I'm so cute and chubby...my auntie Rachel wanted to eat me up!

Look at my wee tiny little feet! So new and still a little wrinkly.

My mommy loves me so much!

It's nice to get snuggles and kisses from my mama

And of course my auntie Rachel is so proud and thankful that I arrived safe and as healthy as can be. Thank-you Jesus for this unspeakable gift!

My 1st Haircut

Boy, was I ever a good girl today for my very first haircut. I sat so nice in the chair and didn't even cry once. My stylist, Cindy, was so nice to me and I went into her arms very willingly. I didn't even want to go back to my mommy! She was nice and quick and made me look so pretty. Thanks Cindy! Here are some pics and a video that my mommy took while the haircut was in progress...

Talking and singing

I wanted to show everyone my sweetie's cute little voice so here's a little video with some talking. Of course, she's not as vocal as usual when the camera's on but you'll here her rendition of Old MacDonald as well as Ba Ba Black Sheep. For interest sake I'll try and make a list of the other things she can say:

Ducky, puppy, mommy, daddy, No way, Yeah, woh (sp?) (as in, "Woh...I just about cracked my head on that sharp corner), toe-sie (for her toes), La (light), win-ow (window), pizza, no-man (snowman), sa (sun), Coh (for her little friend Cole from daycare...every little blond boy we see is "cole"), shoes, boo (boot), mih (mitt), ja (jacket) and pretty much any word you ask her to say she'll attempt with just the first two or three letters.

What a funny little honey

Dayna LOVES the remote. Any chance she gets, she scoops it up and starts pressing buttons. Here we have her attempting to fix the little problem she got into while mommy wasn't paying attention.

If you can read her a book, you're her best friend. Here Grampa K reads to Dayna with his laryngytis (sp?) hoarse and high-pitched voice. It was pretty funny.

Look at the cool hot pink robe I got from my cousin Jenna for Christmas. It's so cozy after a bath and I can just wear a diaper underneath (but I'd rather be buck naked if given the chance)
